Orapin Tantimedh
Tempestuous Blooms
I
regard my photographic images as found objects, the result of my love
of play and chance.
The image is the happy accident of the life of the bloom and the light
at the given moment.
I
am interested in the captured image and transitions from one cinematic
moment to another.
I am fascinated by dissolves and visual swipes in films. I am trying
to express the passing of time and the ephemeral.
The vivid
colours recall the luxuriant foliage and the hot, languid atmosphere
of my tropical childhood.
