The
paintings of Mari Rantanen present an invitation. The spaces they invite
us into may be public, semi-public, or private, but they are always
formed by vibrating color, they are spaces in color. They are, however,
spaces which we cannot enter; we may only imagine moving around inside
them. They are frames of mind.
